I’ve heard of this brand Tula Skincare a lot on Instagram. It’s more hyped up by more known public bloggers, and they all swear by it. I wanted to try this skincare out to see if it really does any justice to my skin. This is not a sponsored blog post by Tula; this is just me giving my honest opinion on my experience with it. Since I have had my son, I have had hormornal acne pretty much every month. It’s been so annoying so I decided to try this brand out. First let’s talk about what Tula is all about. Tula Skincare is a brand committed to clean, safe and effective products. They are cruelty free and their products don’t contain (Phthalates, Parabens, Toxins, Carcinogens, Mineral Oil, Sodium Laurel Sulfate, and harmful preservatives). They are also formulated with good for you probiotics. Not gonna lie, the probiotics part is what led me to purchase some of their items.
Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser
The first product I purchased was their Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser. This is a gel cleanser that is to go deep into the pores to remove any impurities. It also has probiotics and superfoods to help condition skin without stripping or over-drying. When I first opened and used this product, I noticed it had a very light scent that I very much enjoyed. It’s not overpowering at all. Once I applied it onto my face, and rinsed off my face, I could definitely tell my face was clean. It also has been helping keep my skin at bay with breakouts. I tend to have hormonal breakouts every month; which has been extremely annoying. I’ve mostly broken out on my forehead and on my cheeks and around my chin. Now if you have more sensitive skin, I would try out their Super Calm Gentle Milk Cleanser. This is more of an milk cleanser rather than gel; and it’s more moisturizing.
Clear It Up Acne Clearing + Tone Correcting Gel
The second product that I have been loving is their Clear It Up Acne Clearing + Tone Correcting Gel. This gel is good for clearing up acne breakouts, and also helping prevent them. It also helps brighten up the looks of marks from past blemishes. I use this after I have cleansed my face, and only use a dime size amount on my face. This product can be a little drying, so I would start out using this once a day and then increase on a needed basis. There really isn’t a scent to this product, which doesn’t bother me at all. I honestly would recommend this if you have more hormonal breakouts or just occasionally breakout every now and then. One night I had a pimple coming up on my cheek, I applied this gel; and I kid you not the pimple was gone within a few days! I swear by this and it’s definitely staying a staple of mine in my skincare routine.
Detox In A Jar Exfoliating Treatment Mask
Now for the last product I purchased from them is called Detox In A Jar Exfoliating Treatment Mask. This mask is literally heaven sent. It is a clay mask that gently exfoliates and detoxes; leaving the skin more smoother. It also has an antioxidant-rich blueberry extract that hydrates and promotes even skin tone. I’ve been using this product at-least twice a week. I notice that once I apply to my skin, it leaves a cooling sensation. After I apply it, I leave it onto my skin for five minutes per instructions. Once those five minutes are over, I wet my hands and then gently massage it into my skin. It does have small little micro-beads to help exfoliate the skin. In my opinion, this isn’t too harsh, and actually leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. Lastly it does a really good job at removing any dead cells, and isn’t hard to rinse off the face. I would 100% recommend this and it’s perfect for all skin types.
I’m definitely going to be looking into purchasing some more of their products. And in the end, I have noticed a huge difference in my skin! I hope this helps anyone who has been on the fence about purchasing. If you do try them, let me know what you think in the comments below.
