For the past month I’ve been trying out some skincare goodies from Nolaskinsentials. This skincare brand is black owned and carries vegan skincare catered towards millenials. They carry an array of products, such as exfoliants, masks, cleansers, serums, and toners. They also carry skincare products for men. Not only do they carry the full size products, but they also carry “try me sizes” This gives you the chance to actually try out the product first before you actually commit to the full size product. Rose Hydration Mist
The Rose Hydration Mist is an ultimate hydrating facial mist for great hydrating purposes on the go. It consists of Aloe Vera, Vitamin C, Grapefruit, and Calendula. Each of these provide moisture to the skin, while also creating a balance complexion and removing free radicals. The smell of this is very lightweight, which I love. My skin feels soft to the touch after it’s been applied, and feels so refreshed and soothed. This face mist comes in a try me size of 1oz.
Brightening C-Serum
The Brightening C-Serum is a game changer. It works wonders for discoloration, and dull skin. The ingredients for this product include Vitamin C, Citrus extract, Jojoba Oil, and Sunflower Oil. It’s very lightweight, combats dark spots, and provides an overall radiance. I had a few dark spots on my face from previous acne breakouts that were so hard to get rid of. This product has helped fade those dark spots so much. I highly recommend this product, it’s not drying and provides a great hydrating experience for your skin. I use this product twice a day per instructions on the label. The try me size comes in a 0.5oz as well.
Iconic Elixir
I like to call The Iconic Elixir the “acne killer”. This is a great acne treatment that doesn’t dry out your face. When this is used, it provides glowing, clear skin overnight; that won’t clog your pores. The ingredients for this product include Hemp Seed, Sunflower Oil, Peppermint, and Tea-Tree Oil. All of these ingredients are great for treating acne. The benefits of this product is that it hydrates and replenishes the skin, and it promotes a healthy glow. I use this only at night before I go to bed, and it’s the last thing I apply when doing my skincare routine. It works great as a spot treatment. It helps decrease the size of the pimple the next day and comes in a try me size of 0.5oz. This is one of my favorite products from Nolaskinsentials, and I’m definitely going to purchase the full size for this product.
Green Tea Antioxidant Face Mask
The Green Tea Antioxidant Face Mask is a great soothing anti-pollution face mask. It targets those stubborn clogged pores and calms your skin. This will leave you with a healthier glow from the inside out. Once this is applied it provides a cooling sensation. It contains Camellia Tea, Eucalyptus Oil, Aloe Vera, and Clay. It’s great for treating mild acne breakouts and prevents them as well. I use this twice a week in rotation with my other face masks. I highly recommend this product as well. This comes in a try me size of 1oz.
Overall I absolutely love this brand. I have noticed a big difference in my skin and I love that it’s a vegan skincare line. Makes me feel more comfortable knowing nothing toxic is going onto my skin and in my pores. I can’t wait to try out some more products from this brand.
